The Big Easy:)

Yes!!! I went to New Orleans with the fam and we partied hard the whole time. What a ride! We had so much fun exploring the sometimes amazing sometimes gross city, and went absolutely nuts at the Super Dome when we shut up the smug Alabama fans while their team got worked on the field. Excellent! Sorry the pics aren't in any particular order, I am tired...

Me kicking a field goal-3 points for Jenny.:) For real though-Sara, my Dad, and I scored:)

Amazing form:)

Cool LSU fans who were converted to Utah pride by the 4th quarter...

What?!?!?!?! We are amazing! This is post freak out in the 1st quarter.

Acme Oyster House. We waited like 40 minutes to get it. Actually my parents waited while we walked around Bourbon...

At the Allstate fan square. AKA where we achieved our kicking glory.

Still in line:)

Go Utes!

Woot Woot!

Keaton. Ladies...he's single-and legal:) But still is high school, so back off.

The cemetary's are in little houses because of the water table New Orleans is on. When they flood, caskets buried in the groud pop out of the ground. They have family "homes" that are passed down, and when a new person dies and the shelves in the house are full, they take the person who has been there the longest and put their remains in a box in the house and put the new person in-it's always revolving and stays in the family forever. Crazy stuff.

An old iron bench.

Rusting iron benches by a burial house.

My dad and Sara ready for Mardis Gras. Big Lar can party with the big boys:)

Very nice.

Very mysterious.

One of many nights on the town-our first night on Bourbon Street. What an experience that was...We went every night, our hotel was 3 blocks away on Canal Street, but we cut out New Year's Bourbon Street short because it was off the wall gross. I had fun the other nights, but people were extremely wasted and I walked through vomit, it smelled like urine/cigar smoke/puke/beer/cigarettes and other bodily fluids I'm sure I couldn't distinguish. So we turned around and went back to the hotel to watch the fireworks. We did however have success getting Keaton to an upstairs bar so he could come out on the balcony with us-you can't go to New Orleans without getting on a balcony. Not to worry-we were all dry:)

Pre game. The superdome is gigantic. It blew my socks off:)

The "Make It Right" foundation homes. The ones that Brad Pitt is involved with.

The wall (this is the new and improved one) that went down in the lower ninth ward.

FEMA trailer

The water line. You can see it right below the shadow of the power line. It's very humbling to see in real life.

The marks the searchers wrote on all the buildings. There is an X with the date on the top, then the groups who searched, like which National Guard division, and then a number at the bottom of the x saying the number of bodies they found. This house had 2 dogs dead on arrival. The really tragic part to think about is that the hurricane came on August 29, and we didn't see a date earlier than September 11. This house says 9-16. Could you imagine waiting that long for people to come help? Horrible.

AND NOW!!!!...I was super entertained by all the indulgence and debauchery on Bourbon Street-it reminded me of what an adult Pleasure Island from Pinnochio would be like. So I took some pics of funny signs for clubs. Enjoy!

Yes, he is also BARELY LEGAL.
