Bear Lake... the Caribbean of the Rockies...

We went up to Bear Lake and had a rockin' good time. We camped at the local KOA, which is a huuuuuuggggeeee dump, and had to drive to the opposite side of the lake for decent water, but all the adventures made a crazy awesome party time trip to Bear Lake...:)
Me, Aydre, Sara...we are quite becoming aren't we?
Aydre, Brandon
Brandon kicking that water's ass... Me right before I threw the rope in. I actually did surf without the rope, but Brandon had never seen anyone do that before, so he apologized when I got in the boat for not taking any pictures of that because he said he was "freaking out"...:) Gotta love those nostrils:)

YouTube Commercial...Rugby vs. Badminton

We were in a YouTube video for the "Forever Strong" rugby movie that comes out in September. Sara, Keaton, and I just got to play badminton for like an hour, but Brandon had the crap tackled out of him for a few takes. He was tough though, and I think the commercial came out well :) I put the video of us below, but there is a "rugby vs. golf" that's really funny, and "rugby vs. American football" that they did as well with the Skyline football team. So you can go to YouTube and check those out as well if you want...

This is our J-Crew cheesy ad face...
You can't see it very well, but Brandon's eye got all scraped up on the first hit.

Has anyone seen Mary-Kate???

Does anyone else think that the Olson twin's are completely ridiculous, especially with the crazy/creepy smile-like face they always have? I only bring this up because my sister Sara makes the funniest (in my opinion:)) impression of them. She makes us call her "MK" then pulls out the face-it's even better in person...

Teapot Lake!!

Brandon had a random weekend off, so we decided to go camping. We went up to Lily Lake and Teapot Lake by Kamas and it was wonderful. I now understand why people take so many pictures of their kids, because we ended up with like a hundred pictures of our dogs, pathetic! But anyway, we had tons of fun...it was the dogs' first camping trip, I burned my finger crazy bad on our dutch oven, Brandon got a ticket for fishing without a license, we had delicious food, and went on fun little hikes with our princess dogs. How does life get any better?...

Pioneers of Progress '08=Big Lar

My dad was nominated and received the Pioneers of Progress award for the Days of 47 in the sports and athletics category. We went to an awards dinner where they had a 4 minute news piece on each of the winners, then they got to get up and give a quick thank you speech. We are all so proud of my dad and what he has done over the last 33 years, and it was cool to see that others acknowledge his hard work.

Then came the Days of '47 parade. It was actually pretty cool to wait out there with all the gaudy floats and then to see my parents sitting in a convertible waving to people...awesome...:)
